We’re thrilled to announce that for a second year, Saving Sight will name a Lion Ambassador of the Year for 2025! The award is in recognition of a volunteer who has made an incredible impact in our service area in the past year and exemplifies our
mission of “We change lives by saving sight.”
The award will be given to one volunteer at Saving Sight’s June 21, 2025, Board of Directors meeting and the winner will be announced at the Missouri Lions State Convention. In commemoration of their partnership in service, Saving Sight will provide a $1,000 donation in the Lion Ambassador of the Year honoree’s name to the 501c(3) nonprofit organization of their choice.
Nominations for the Ambassador of the Year will be accepted from February 1, 2025, through April 1, 2025. A total of only 9 nominations will be considered from:
- The current seated MD-26 District Governors (7 nominations)
- The current seated Md-26 Council Chairperson (1 nomination)
- The current Saving Sight Board of Directors (1 nomination)
To be considered for the award, nominees should meet the following criteria:
